Day trip to the Mango & More Farm in Pego for AVIB members and friends.

Departure from the Cumbre North Portal (VAPF office opposite the Lady ElisabethSchool) on 05.10.2024 at 10 am with private cars (convoy) to Pego.
We will be given a tour of the farm, all kinds of information about mangoes, and will be able to sample various products.
You can buy all kinds of products in the farm shop.
The tour is free.
Dirk will accompany the excursion.

The story:
Manon, a beautiful young girl destined for a convent, elopes with a young student, the ‘Chevalier Des Grieux’, who is led astray by his love for Manon, in the year 1721, at the time of King Louis XV.
The lovers are tracked down by Manon’s brother ‘Lescaut’ and his companion ‘Bretigny’, who would also like to marry Manon.
The plot is full of twists and turns and involves gambling, theft, prostitution and Manon’s unscrupulous character, among other things.
